Hand dyed silk banner gifted when I returned to visit a lady in Malaysia who taught me batik painting. I had already dyed this silk in Australia, and un-be-known to me I arrived at the time of their festival of lanterns. This piece looks like lanterns hanging in rows and swinging in the breeze and it reminded me that every good gift comes down from above from the Father of lights.
