With Joy...

“With joy, you will draw water from the wells of Salvation”
Isaiah 12:3

"Whoever drinks from the water I will give Him will never thirst again" John 4:14
"...this He (Jesus) spoke of the Holy Spirit..." John 7:38-39
"Whoever desires let him take the water of life freely" Revelation 22:17

Jesus says to drink freely from the river of life, the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 5:18 “…be filled with the Spirit”. ‘Filled’ means to be covered over and complete. That is, (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.: – accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply (Strong’s Concordance).

Often times I am my own worst enemy. I know this but do I actually allow the Holy Spirit to fill me in all those hollow places: to ‘supply’ all my needs, ‘finish a task’, or ‘execute (an office)’ etc.

A fresh infilling is like rain and it verifies the blessing of God.

It brings forth the seed sown and celebrates the harvest. Interesting that Jesus talked of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the last day of the Feast of the Harvest.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2) is associated with Jesus’ mission and purpose of planting, watering and gathering in of the harvest, of celebrating and proclaiming the wonderful works of God and establishing His Kingdom on earth.

So let’s be open to the Holy Spirit and keep believing and receiving.

For all those health enthusiasts out there (physically and spiritually), stay hydrated! An enthusiast is ‘a person who is very interested in a particular activity or subject’ (google dictionary).
